Scottsdale’s Arts Scene Comes Alive This Fall

As summer winds down, Scottsdale comes alive with upcoming iconic events and traditions that celebrate the town’s vibrant creative spirit. With fall just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to find inspiration, explore your artistic side, and immerse yourself in the local arts scene.

Here are some of the ways Scottsdale can help spark your creativity this season.

On September 26, 2026, Taliesin West will host a beginner-friendly mosaic workshop with artist David Jarvinen of The Mosaic Guys. Participants will create an 8-by-10-inch framed mosaic inspired by a Frank Lloyd Wright design. The workshop runs from 9 a.m. to noon, with registration costing $125.

On September 24, On The Edge Gallery in Old Town Scottsdale will host a New Member Artist Premiere from 6–9 p.m., introducing seven artists and their work. The evening is open to the public and admission is free.

​COLORME Art Spa in North Scottsdale will host “Free HER,” a women-only retreat featuring guided meditation, breathwork, group sessions, and soul-art painting. The event takes place September 27 from 12:30–6:30 p.m. at 9550 E. Thunderbird Rd., with admission starting at $149 per person.

• Ravenscroft celebrates its five-year anniversary with live performances by We3 Ft. O.M.G., Raúl Yáñez, Joe Garcia & Friends, and the Lewis Nash Trio. The event begins at 5 p.m., with tickets ranging from $75–$90.

• Sculpt Social will host Pilates Par-Tee at Topgolf Scottsdale on September 26, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon. The event includes a 45-minute Pilates class, two hours of Topgolf, and breakfast. Tickets are $100. 📍 9500 E Talking Stick Way, Scottsdale, AZ 85256.

• ​Vecina will open its new McCormick Ranch location on September 18 in the former Z’Tejas space at Hayden and Via de Ventura. The larger restaurant will feature expanded dining areas, a lake-facing patio, and Vecina’s signature menu and cocktails.

• Scottsdale Quarter’s annual Fall Concert Series returns this season with free live music every Saturday evening from 5–7 p.m. in The Quad. Running September 26 through November 7, the series features local bands across rock, jazz, blues, yacht rock, country, and ’80s pop.

• Old Town Scottsdale is seeking artists to paint window storefronts for the holiday season. Selected artists will have the opportunity to create festive artwork displayed throughout the community. Applications are now open.

• ​Aldi plans to open its first Scottsdale location at Indian River Plaza, 7919 E. Thomas Road, according to the Phoenix Business Journal. The grocery chain is also planning several other Valley locations as part of its goal to add about 40 stores across the region by 2030.

• ​Phoenix Raceway’s free Fan Fest returns to downtown Phoenix on October 15, from 4–7 p.m. at Heritage Square and Science Park. The family-friendly event will feature NASCAR driver appearances, show cars, live music, kids’ activities, food vendors, and community booths ahead of Chase Weekend, October 16–18.

• The Scottsdale Fall Festival returns to Scottsdale Civic Center on October 17 from 5–9 p.m. The free community event will feature live music, food trucks, a cocktail garden, trick-or-treating, carnival games, arts and crafts, and local community booths.
