The Desert Botanical Garden unveils Super Bloom by Graphic Rewilding, an immersive art exhibition featuring colorful glass houses and oversized botanical illustrations that bring giant desert flowers and vibrant colors to life.
Desert in full bloom: Running through May 31, Super Bloom transforms 21 locations across the Desert Botanical Garden with oversized desert flowers, five colorful glass houses, a dazzling succulent chandelier, and more, day and night. Our favorite is the Musical Garden in Bloom, a night-blooming dreamscape in the RAF Exhibit Gallery where light and music create a magical moonrise experience.
Bloom boom! With Super Bloom debuting, Desert Botanical Garden is launching an expanded fall season of festivals, live music, seasonal displays and outdoor experiences. The exhibition is included with general admission, starting at $32.95 for adults and $16.95 for children ages 2–17. Kids under 2 and Garden members enter free, and onsite parking is complimentary.
A New Apartment Community Is Coming to Old Town Scottsdale
Modera Old Town Rendering
Modera Old Town, a 190-unit apartment development, is planned for a 2.03-acre site in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, with completion targeted for mid-2029.
Old Town Living: The 190-unit development will offer one- to three-bedroom apartments averaging 1,076 square feet, with upscale finishes and smart-home features. Amenities include a resort-style pool, cabanas, fitness center, clubhouse and coworking spaces, all within walking distance of Old Town’s dining, nightlife and shopping.
Building Together: The project brings together Origin Investments, a private real estate investment manager specializing in multifamily properties, and Mill Creek Residential, a national company that develops, builds and operates rental communities. This marks their second partnership following Modera Higley Commons in Gilbert, a 276-unit community completed earlier this year that is now 87% leased.
Construction is scheduled to begin this month or November following an official groundbreaking, with completion expected in mid-2029 at 7120 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale.
