🍷 Uncorked Returns to Scottsdale

Scottsdale’s favorite wine fest, Uncorked: AZ Wine Festival, returns to Salt River Fields on Saturday, October 10.

From 5:30–10 PM, guests can sip and swirl more than 100 wines and bubblies from around the world at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, 7555 N. Pima Road, Scottsdale. The 21+ event also features local food trucks, a DJ, a custom photo booth and more, with proceeds benefiting AZ Small Dog Rescue.

VIP tickets are $105 and include early entry, batting-practice field access and an exclusive VIP lounge with premium wineries. Early Admission is $85, while General Admission is $70. All tickets include wine tasting; food is sold separately.

🍺 75 Years at the Rusty Spur

Scottsdale’s last true cowboy saloon, Rusty Spur, is celebrating its 75th anniversary on September 26 with a full day of live country music, anniversary festivities, and a fundraiser.

A Scottsdale Original: The Rusty Spur has been a Scottsdale staple since 1951, when it became the city’s first bar—but the building goes back even further. Built in 1921 as the Farmer’s State Bank, it still has the original bank vault, which now keeps the beer and liquor cold. Not a bad upgrade! The building is also an official historical landmark, making a drink here feel like a little trip through Scottsdale’s past.

Boots, Beers & Good Times: Step through the swinging doors and you’re surrounded by license plates, old photos, signs and dollar bills, with a stage in the corner where live country music plays every day and night and the famous barstool. More than half of the crowd comes from outside the country, while plenty of regulars make the trip from across the Valley. Dierks Bentley, Toby Keith, Post Malone and more celebrities have all stopped by, but the real stars might be the locals and visitors filling the dance floor, singing along and enjoying a cold one.

Enjoy a blend of history, country music, and good company at the Rusty Spur, 7245 E. Main St. in Old Town Scottsdale. Sign a dollar bill to leave your mark on the saloon’s walls—each year, the bills are collected and donated to Phoenix Children’s Foundation as part of its annual benefit.

• ​Quiriego opens September 15 at 17007 N. Scottsdale Road, on the corner of Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Scottsdale Road, bringing its Sonoran rustic cooking to its first U.S. location. The 9,200-square-foot spot will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, house coffee and cocktails.

• Scottsdale’s Parks & Rec Rewind 75 celebrates the city’s 75th anniversary on Saturday, September 19, from 6–9 p.m. at Scottsdale Civic Center. The free event includes live music, a DJ, retro arcade games, mini golf, crafts, historic exhibits, food vendors and a cocktail garden.

• A new exhibit opens October 3 at Scottsdale Stadium, marking 75 years since Bobby Thomson’s famous “Shot Heard ’Round the World.” It will also feature a ball claimed to be the long-lost home run ball, along with new evidence in the decades-old mystery.

• According to Phoenix REALTORS®, single-family home sales across Greater Phoenix rose 3.8% year-to-date through August compared with 2025. The median home price also edged up to $483,000.

• ​Cielito has opened at 7117 E. Third Ave. in Old Town Scottsdale, bringing Northwest Mexican-inspired cuisine, agave-forward cocktails and sweeping Camelback Mountain views to its new rooftop space.

• The Thunderbirds have named Chris Camacho tournament chairman for the 2027 WM Phoenix Open, with John Damiris serving as assistant chairman. The 92nd “People’s Open” is set for Feb. 8–14 at TPC Scottsdale.
