🍽️ Dining
A New Bistro With a Speakeasy Side Is Coming to Scottsdale
Ari & Lloyd, a new American bistro and cocktail lounge, is set to open in Old Town Scottsdale this fall, bringing a cozy, East Coast-inspired neighborhood feel to the area.
- Husband-and-wife team Katie Schnurr and Stephen Roach created the concept to bring a more intimate, everyday dining spot to Old Town. Schnurr draws on her hospitality experience, including her time at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, while Roach owns a custom cabinetry business. Named after their two dogs, the restaurant will occupy Roach’s former showroom, with chef Devan Cunningham, co-founder of CC’s on Central, developing the menu.
- The restaurant will have two spaces: The Ari, serving lunch and dinner, and The Lloyd, a speakeasy-style lounge for craft cocktails and light bites. Menu highlights will include oysters, charcuterie, sandwiches, steak, and a signature burger, while the bar will serve creative drinks like a fig Old Fashioned and guava Negroni in a cozy, casual setting.
